A Glimpse of Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebration at BGSIAS

The auspicious festival of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in BGSIAS to honour and glorify the birth of Lord Krishna, Vishnu’s eighth avatar. The joyful and spiritually energising festival of Janmashtami was organized by decorating the school with the Janmashtami theme. The celebration started with prayers and devotion to lord Krishna. The chanting of shlokas and dance performance by the students ignited the spirit of festivity among them spreading joy and happiness. Students realized the significance of this festival and the inspiring personality of lord Krishna -the divine soul.  This festival celebration developed a spirit of harmony, oneness and divine feelings in students which is very important to lead a successful life.
