A famous Greek philosopher Aristotle quotes that “knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom”. This can be achieved by Self-awareness.
A workshop on self-awareness was organized to all the staff members of BGSIAS which was conducted by one of the world-famous Personality development trainer Ms. Nathalie Turgeon. Her effective way of presenting the content made all the participants to involve themselves enthusiastically throughout the session, she guided that as teachers one need to be self-aware of themselves to inspire their students. Self-awareness is the ability to recognize and understand your own thoughts, your own emotions, and your own behaviors in life. She conveyed this idea through an activity that identification of our strength and weakness helps us to build a balanced personality traits that motivates us to have a high EQ in our life. This eye-opening session created an everlasting impression on all teachers building a positive mindset to begin the new academic year with the insightful thoughts.
The session was concluded by developing the attitude of self-reflection and self-evaluation which would lead us to the path of self-awareness and be better in every stage of our life.
