The Investiture Ceremony was organized for the students of BGSIAS with great pride and passion to make them realize the importance of leadership roles and responsibilities. This annual event, a milestone of our school’s tradition, symbolizes the trust and confidence that the institution places in its young leaders.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Poojya Swamiji, Chief guest-Mr. Sharath Nambiar accompanied by the Principal, DA and other dignitaries. This was followed by an invocation song that set a serene and inspiring tone for the event.
The highlight of the ceremony was the formal presentation of badges and sashes to the newly `elected student leaders. The Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain and Vice-Captain, House Captains, and Prefects took the stage with pride, accepting their roles with solemnity and enthusiasm. Each member of the council pledged to perform their duties with utmost dedication and to be role models for their peers.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering, sharing words of wisdom and motivating the students to strive for excellence in all spheres of life. Their speech underscored the importance of teamwork, resilience, and ethical leadership in building a brighter future.
A sense of purpose and commitment resonated as the newly appointed leaders recited the oath led by the school Principal, vowing to serve their school and fellow students selflessly. The audience applauded the young leaders for their dedication and promise.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the ceremony. The National Anthem marked the end of a memorable day, leaving an indelible impression on the hearts of everyone present.
